Please consult with us if any of the following apply to you before booking:

    • You have previous microblading or permanent makeup (send us a photo to be approved prior to booking)

    • There is psoriasis/dermatitis, eczema, keratosis pilaris, chronic acne, broken capillaries or rosacea (mild cases can be okay) or other skin irritations on and around the brow/ treatment area

    • You have a heart condition (consult with your doctor as the numbing contains epinephrine)

    • You have taken/used Accutane in the last 12 months.

    • You use products with retinol/AHA. It is advised that clients are off retinol (Vitamin A) 1-4 months before and after treatment, depending how strong it is. This includes Isotretinoin, Tazorac, Differin... etc.   If you are unsure, please email us or reach out to Nikolina directly. Some exceptions can be made

  • Microblading involves creating hair-like strokes to mimic natural eyebrow hairs, giving a more natural and defined look. Powder Brows, also known as Ombre Brows, use a shading technique to create a soft, filled-in appearance, similar to wearing brow powder. Both are forms of permanent makeup, but the results and techniques differ—Microblading offers a more natural, hair-like effect, while Powder Brows provide a softer, more filled-in look.

  • Nano Brows use a machine to create ultra-fine, hair-like strokes that closely mimic natural eyebrow hairs. The result is similar to Microblading but with even finer, more precise lines that tend to last longer. Microblading, on the other hand, uses a manual hand tool to achieve similar effects but may not be as long-lasting as Nano Brows.

  • The healing process typically takes 7-14 days. Immediately after the procedure, your brows will appear darker and more defined. Over the next few days, you may experience slight scabbing or flaking as your skin heals. It’s crucial to follow the aftercare instructions provided to ensure proper healing and the best results. Full results are usually visible after about 4-6 weeks.

  • The longevity of your eyebrow permanent makeup depends on several factors, including your skin type, lifestyle, and aftercare. On average,Microblading lasts about 12-18 months, while Nano Brows and Powder Brows can last anywhere from 18-24 months.

Touch-ups are recommended to maintain the desired look over time.

  • Most clients describe the sensation as mild discomfort rather than pain. A topical numbing cream is applied during the procedure to minimize any discomfort. The level of discomfort varies depending on individual pain tolerance, but many clients find the process more comfortable than expected. Most people say tweezing or threading hurts more, most people almost fall asleep.

  • An eyebrow permanent makeup appointment typically takes between 2-3 hours. This includes the consultation, design process, numbing time, and the actual application of the permanent makeup and after care. The time may vary depending on the complexity of the desired look.

  • Yes, I can work over existing eyebrow permanent makeup; however, a consultation is necessary to assess the current state of your brows. The previous work may need to be lightened or removed before new permanent makeup can be applied to achieve the best results. Please send us a photo of your brows to be approved by Nikolina prior to booking or come see us for a consultation.

  • The best time to get permanent makeup is during a period when you can avoid excessive sun exposure, swimming, and intense physical activities for at least two weeks. Many clients prefer to schedule their appointments during the cooler months or when they have time off from work or vacation to accommodate the healing process.

  • In most cases no, a consultation is not required. A consultation is recommended before booking if you are hesitant and want to see exactly what your eyebrows could look like without fully committing just yet! If you decide to book a consult, there is a $50 fee which will be applied to the procedure when booking.

If you have had previous permanent makeup done, scar tissue, skin concerns, medical complications or special requests/ assistance a consultation prior to booking may be needed. Please contact us directly with any questions.

However, a full in depth consult is done during the time of your Permanent Makeup Appointment. In the consultation, we’ll discuss your desired look, review your medical history, and determine the best technique for your skin type and preferences. This ensures that you are fully informed and that we achieve the best possible outcome.

  • Aftercare is crucial for the success of your eyebrow permanent makeup. You’ll need to avoid getting your brows wet, applying makeup to the area, and exposing them to direct sunlight for at least a week. We will provide you with detailed aftercare instructions and kit, including how to clean the area and what to avoid to ensure optimal healing and long-lasting results.
